Snackin’ Trays

“Mama……I’m HUNGRY!” I hear as I roll my eyes. It’s been two hours since breakfast, how are they hungry again? Oh yea…they picked at some food but decided to go play instead. This was such an issue in our home. The kids, being at different stages didn’t necessarily understand to eat enough…or sit still…or be…

Homemaking Skills: Laundry

Ahh….homemaking. It is a wonderful, magical, experience. There are rainbows and sunshine, and a huge pile of freaking laundry. Seriously, this laundry is ruining my fantasy. About Me

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to share what inspires you or makes you laugh.

I’m a fifth generation farmer, who left the family farm in 2014 to start my own little farm. But growing up on a commercial goat dairy farm and creamery, you know I had to stick with goats for that delicious dairy. Although we did add sheep to the mix.

I practice holistic animal husbandry, native breed conservation, selective breeding programs, and with my background in Environmental Science…everything is guided by safe soil and water conversation practices.

I participated in 4-H and earned my American Degree with the FFA, we showed our dairy goats for over a decade, and I spent many years at farmer’s markets. All in all, even in college, I was active in the agricultural industry in multiple areas all while doing independent work with several environmental groups such as local Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and The Natural Resource and Conservation Services.

Besides farming…I absolutely love to homeschool our children, have too many hobbies to count, and am married to my best friend.
